  I find this church offensive for several reasons. It's promoting hypocrisy. One of my iconic friends was completely disrespected by the entire church for simply having a same-sex religion. I understand what the bible says about this, but this church should know overall Jesus doesn't hate. They think they know Jesus and it's offensive because they know nothing. Yet they're fine with their teens getting pregnant. Deplorable and unacceptable. When I look at the pictures the first thing I notice with my eyes which is shocking is how it looks like a sketchy man's trailer. I also find the photographer at fault because he didn't ask the grass if it could be in the picture and I don't think they would approve of the absolutely reckless behavior this church is involved in. Neither does God. Ridiculous.

  Friendly people that really do treat each other like family! Real people praying together, crying together, learning together, worshiping together. Warmly welcoming of newcomers regardless of, well, *anything*, from what I've seen & experienced. The worship songs tend to the modern, with songs you may hear on contemporary Christian radio. The teaching is always solid and Bible-based. Wide range of dress, from suits/dresses to sports jerseys. Good community outreach, too, with "Free Prayer" in Portland, school-supply giveaways to needy students, "blessing bags" to the homeless and others. My take: not big on pretense or a fancy/expensive building, but authentic: sincerely wanting to get people connected with Jesus!
